Our team's experience in wetsuit and neoprene manufacturing began well before Ocean Tailored itself.

Over the years, we have worked with many brands and organisations across international markets, alongside individual customers ordering wetsuits for their own use.

Today, our work ranges from individually fitted custom wetsuits to product development, small private label collections and larger OEM production.

Different customers come to us for different reasons, but the factory, manufacturing knowledge and people behind the products remain the same.

Behind every suit is a team working across pattern making, cutting, printing, gluing, stitching, seam finishing, inspection and packing.

Experience matters here. Small decisions in patterns, materials and manufacturing can make a noticeable difference to how a wetsuit fits, moves and holds up over time.

Technology has changed how we design and manufacture products, and we continue to use it where it improves what we do. But the knowledge and judgement of the people making the product remain just as important.

Founder, Ocean Tailored

Ocean Tailored started from a simple idea. I wanted customers to be able to work directly with the people designing and manufacturing their wetsuits.

I had seen how easily that connection could disappear when manufacturing became only about quantities, specifications and purchase orders. I wanted Ocean Tailored to work differently.

Whether someone comes to us for one custom wetsuit or a brand comes to us with an entire collection, I believe the starting point should be the same: understand what they are trying to achieve, communicate clearly and make the product with care.

That does not mean we will always agree with every idea. Sometimes our job is to suggest another material, change a detail or explain why we think something could be done better. Other times, the customer's original idea is already the right one.

Today we work with individual customers, athletes, startups, established brands and organisations across different parts of the world. The company has grown, but I want that direct and practical way of working with people to remain part of Ocean Tailored in the years ahead.
