A versatile short-leg wetsuit built for surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, wing foiling and foiling in warmer conditions.

Made entirely from premium Yamamoto #39 neoprene, the Men's Front Zip Shorty combines flexibility and comfort with a clean short-leg design and easy front-zip entry.

Built Around Your Sport

Choose from performance options developed for surfing, kite, windsurf, wing and foil, including options such as Wind Shield and other sport-specific features available for this design.

Because the Shorty finishes above the knee, lower-leg features such as ankle straps, ankle Aqua Flush, knee and shin reinforcement and Back Knee Grooves are not applicable to this design.

Also Suitable for Warm-Water Freediving

The lightweight, flexible construction can also be used for recreational warm-water freediving when a short one-piece wetsuit is preferred.

I don’t usually write reviews but I’ve been surfing and waterman for some 25 years. This top is buttery! So soft and the small zipper you can’t feel at all paddling. Warm and super flexible. I’ll be wearing ocean tailored in all my suits the 3/2 I have has been great too and I work and play in that one daily still looks and feels new! Custom colors are great too so I’m not in the same boring black suits I’ve been in my whole lifelife. Thanks team keep it up!

Great wetsuits. I ordered a custom and it fits perfectly. It’s my first suit with Yamamoto neoprene and I think I’m only going to be buying Yamamoto from here on out. Very flexible and easy to paddle in.

I’ve been through a lot of wetsuits over the years, and having one that’s made specifically for me is another level. The suits fit incredibly and move naturally with me in the water. It feels like a second skin.

You can tell a lot of care goes into making each suit. It’s warm, flexible, and has held up great through countless surf sessions.

My favorite part is being able to fully customize the design. I love wearing something that’s unique and reflects my own style instead of another stock wetsuit. I can’t count how many times people have come up to me in the water asking where I got my wetsuit.

If you’re looking for a wetsuit that’s comfortable, performs at a high level, and is made specifically for you, I can’t recommend Ocean Tailored enough.

It is made entirely from premium Yamamoto #39 neoprene with Glued & Blind Stitched (GBS) seams and a YKK front zipper.

What thicknesses are available?

Choose between 2mm and 3/2mm, depending on the level of coverage and warmth you prefer.
