Why Choose the Back Zip Pro?
Choose the Back Zip Pro if you want the convenience of a rear-entry wetsuit with improved water management. The long rear zipper keeps changing straightforward, while the internal barrier helps reduce flushing through the back-zip opening.
It is a strong all-round choice for riders who want easier entry without accepting as much water movement as a traditional Classic Back Zip.
Back Zip Pro vs Classic Back Zip
Both systems use a rear zipper and are designed for convenient changing. The Back Zip Pro adds an internal barrier behind the zipper to improve water management and reduce flushing.
The Classic Back Zip offers the simplest construction and easiest entry. Choose it when maximum ease of changing is the priority; choose the Back Zip Pro when you want easy rear entry with better water control.
Choose Your Thickness
Choose the thickness around your water temperature, conditions and sport.
2mm — 65°F+ / 18°C+
Lightweight protection for mild to moderate water conditions, with maximum flexibility and freedom of movement.
3/2mm — 57–66°F / 14–19°C
For cooler water when you start to feel the chill, while maintaining excellent flexibility and comfort.
4/3mm — 52–59°F / 11–15°C
Our most popular all-round thickness for cold-water conditions, balancing serious warmth with flexibility and mobility.
5/4mm — 43–54°F / 6–12°C
Built for cold-water and winter sessions where greater thermal protection is needed. A strong choice for winter surfing and other water sports across the UK, Ireland, Scotland, Atlantic Canada and Northern Europe, as well as colder-water sessions in Norway and Iceland.
6/4mm Hooded — Below 48°F / 9°C
Serious winter protection for very cold water. Designed for demanding surf, wind and water-sport conditions in Norway, Iceland, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, northern Scotland and other high-latitude regions, where warmth becomes as important as performance.
6/5mm Hooded — Extreme Cold Water
Our highest level of cold-water protection, built for Arctic and near-Arctic winter conditions and extended sessions in exceptionally cold water. Ideal for destinations such as Lofoten and northern Norway, Iceland, Atlantic Canada and other extreme cold-water environments, where maximum thermal protection is the priority.
Temperature ranges are a guide. Air temperature, wind exposure, session length, activity level, sport and personal cold tolerance can affect the protection you need. In very cold water, appropriate boots, gloves and hood protection are essential.
