The Ocean Tailored Women's Hydro Guard combines a performance women's wetsuit with a customizable EVA impact system for big wave surfing, kitesurfing, kiteboarding, windsurfing, wing foiling, foiling and other demanding water sports.

Build Your Impact Coverage
Removable EVA panels are integrated into selected areas of the wetsuit to provide additional cushioning without requiring the entire suit to be heavily padded.
When ordering directly from this page, choose from three ready-designed Impact Setups, each with a different arrangement of coverage across areas such as the chest, ribs, shoulders, back, thighs, knees and shins.
For a more individual build, the 3D Wetsuit Builder lets you decide which available impact zones you want and which you would rather leave free.
Most impact zones use substantial 25mm EVA foam, while 12mm EVA is used selectively in positions where a slimmer profile works better with the shape and movement of the body.
The EVA inserts are also removable and replaceable, giving you the freedom to remove individual panels when they are not needed or replace them later without replacing the complete wetsuit.
Built for More Than Big Waves
Hydro Guard isn't limited to one sport.
For big wave surfing, it can be configured with extensive impact coverage for demanding conditions.
For kite and windsurfing, the impact system adds cushioning in selected areas during fast, high-energy sessions and hard falls.
For wing foiling and foiling, you can configure coverage around areas such as the torso, ribs, shoulders, thighs, knees and shins while keeping the areas where you want greater freedom of movement less restricted.
The idea is simple: start with a premium full wetsuit and build the impact coverage around the way you use it.
Impact Cushioning with Added Buoyancy
The closed cell EVA used inside the impact panels also adds buoyant volume to the wetsuit. How much additional buoyancy you experience depends on the number, thickness and position of the panels in your chosen configuration.
That additional buoyancy can provide useful support in the water, particularly during demanding sessions, but it should be considered a secondary benefit of the impact system rather than a replacement for dedicated safety equipment.

It is not a certified personal flotation device (PFD), life jacket, buoyancy aid or certified protective equipment. It is not designed or certified to prevent drowning or injury. Always use appropriate certified safety equipment for your activity and conditions.
Hooded or Hoodless. Your Choice.
Choose the Hydro Guard as a hoodless full suit or hooded full suit, depending on your water temperature, conditions and personal preference.
Available thicknesses include 2mm, 3/2mm, 4/3mm, 4/4mm, 5/4mm and 6/4mm.
Optional Rescue Handle
An optional reinforced Rescue Handle, originally developed following requests from big wave surfers, can be positioned high on the back of the wetsuit.
It provides an additional dedicated grip point when another person is assisting the rider from the water.
Premium Yamamoto Construction
The impact system sits over a wetsuit built around three Yamamoto neoprene grades, each selected for the area where it performs best.
Yamamoto #40 is used through the shoulders and arms, where stretch and freedom of movement matter most.
Yamamoto #39 forms the thermal core through the torso, balancing warmth, flexibility and comfort.
Yamamoto #38 reinforces the high-wear knee areas beneath the knee pads for additional durability.
Construction includes Glued and Blind Stitched seams where applicable, internal seam taping, premium YKK zipper hardware, wrist and ankle grip seals and strategic reduced-panel construction. From 3/2mm and above, thermal lining is included through the torso for additional warmth without unnecessarily loading the high-movement shoulder and arm areas.
